Kadoya — Sunnybank
Kadoya — Sunnybank
Kadoya is a funky fresh franchise that has recently expanded from its original store in the Brisbane CBD to another the Southside suburb of Sunnybank. Located in the famous Market Square precinct, home of deliciously authentic Asian cuisine, Kadoya is welcome addition to the local food scene. Serving up a great variety of Japanese bento (food sets), donburi (meat & rice bowls), Japanese curries and other delicious Japanese dishes.
Kadoya is refreshingly authentic and is reminiscent of true Asian cuisine; delicious yet affordable, allowing one to be spoilt to the point of being able to eat for several days without even cooking!

What we had?
Curry With Croquettes($9):
Satisfying a strong desire for Japanese curry, I opted for the curry croquette dish ($9). Happily, it can be served according to personal preference with options of “mild, spicy or super spicy” sauce. I chose the spicy option, which had a good punch to it yet did not overpower the croquettes. The flavour and quality of the croquettes was good.
Our thoughts

Kadoya is essentially a Japanese fast food. Being a regular patron of Kadoya in the CBD for many years, I have frequently indulged in this type of cuisine, especially throughout my university days. As such, if one is looking for an impressively delicious, cheap, fast Japanese meal, then look no further! On the flip side, it is not a place necessarily for important discussions/business lunches etc.
Due to the popularity of Kadoya, expect to wait 5-10minutes for a table during the lunch hour rush.
