The Roll Shop — Brisbane CBD
The Roll Shop — Brisbane CBD
One of the things we love about the Brisbane food scene, here at Brisbane Bites, is the multitudinous genesis of new eateries. I was wondering around aimlessly in the CBD the other day when I spied with my little eye a hole-in-the-wall place in the alleyway behind the NAB. The Roll Shop opened up last Tuesday afternoon and serves up a variety of well-known Vietnamese street foods, including toasted buns, rice paper spring rolls as well as small rice and noodle dishes.

Nagomi Bento — Brisbane CBD
Sometimes I envy the way the Japanese and Koreans package up their lunch-time meals into filling bundles of deliciousness.
The benefit of such set-ups is that:
1) Different parts of the meal are kept separate for maximal visual appeal and freshness
2) There is lots of variety in the foods/textures/tastes that you can eat in the same meal
3)It’s super cute.
Little Larder — New Farm
The Little Larder – New Farm
Just a stones throw from the Brisbane CBD, the inner north suburb of New Farm is a heaven for funky cafes and groovy restaurants. The Little Larder is no exception.
